Netball Scotland AGM 2017: Saturday 9th September

Netball Scotland invites its members to attend the Annual General Meeting to be held on Saturday 9th September 2017 at the sportscotland offices in Glasgow (DOGES, Templeton on the Green, 62 Templeton Street, Glasgow G40 1DA)

 

In conjunction with the AGM and following from the first Local Association Engagement meeting which took place in April this year, Netball Scotland also wishes to invite you to attend a follow up session.

 

Our aim is to provide feedback from the April meeting and provide information on how Netball Scotland can support and empower Local Associations to lead netball development in the community in line with our Strategic Plan.

 

 

This event is open to all Local Association Committee members, however, if you do not fall into this category and still wish to attend in an observer capacity, you may do so.

 

The timings for the day are as follows:

 

11.30am - 12.00pm     AGM registration and welcome catering

12.00pm - 1.30pm       AGM

1.30pm - 2.00pm         Local Association meeting registration and welcome catering

2.00pm - 4.00pm         Local Association meeting

Please note the voting rights are as per our company Articles of Association, a copy of which can be found here.

 

The following members are entitled to attend in a voting capacity:

Club Members with more than 15 members are entitled to 2 voting representatives.

Club members with 15 or less members are entitled to 1 voting representative.

Corporate Members (i.e. Secondary Schools) are entitled to 1 voting representative.

Non Club Individual Members are entitled to 1 vote each.

 

There is no limit to the number of observers a club may send.

 

Life Members, Non Active Individual Members, Patrons, Junior Members under the age of 18, and Recreational Members (Bounce Back) shall have no voting rights.

 

The following members are entitled to appoint a proxy:

Club Members with more than 15 members are entitled to 2 proxy voting representatives.

Club members with 15 or less members are entitled to 1 proxy voting representative.

Corporate Members (i.e. Secondary Schools) are entitled to 1 proxy voting representative.

Non Club Individual Members are entitled to 1 proxy vote each.

 

Life Members, Non Active Individual Members, Patrons, Junior Members under the age of 18, and Recreational Members (Bounce Back) shall have no proxy voting rights.

All attendance returns must be completed by Monday 4th September at the latest.
