Netball is an exciting team sport predominantly played by girls and women around the world. Netball Scotland is responsible for promoting, organising and developing netball in Scotland from ‘grass roots’ to elite level. Currently (October 2016) We have more than 5,000 registered members and an estimated 20,000 participants in Scottish schools.
We are currently working to expand our membership base across sportscotland's 6 regions (Central, East, Grampian, Highlands & Islands, Tayside & Fife and West) into all 32 of Scotland's Local Authorities, such as the Scottish Highlands, the Borders and the Islands, based upon the recruitment of our Regional Development Manager network, and Bounce Back to Netball programme. To ensure a quality participation environment we conduct education and training courses and support members through insurance cover and child protection expertise.
Netball Scotland also provides opportunities for talented athletes, coaches and umpires on the world stage based upon a strong presence in international netball through membership of Netball Europe (NE), the International Netball Federation (INF), and the Commonwealth Games Council for Scotland (CGCS).
We look forward to your involvement in Scottish netball.
