Netball Scotland and Breast Cancer Care

At this year's AGM and Awards Night, Netball Scotland were very excited to announce that we are now in partnership with Breast Cancer Care.  The Scottish Thistles and Netball Scotland are honoured and privelaged to be working in close partnership with such a fantastic charity and we are looking to you, our members, to help grow the support out their for the individuals suffering from this terrible illness.

Netball Scotland currently has over 2,500 female members.  Unfortunately, breast Cancer is something that will probably affect each and every one of those members in one way or another.  Netball Scotland are calling upon our members to do what they can to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.

October 2011 marks Breast Cancer Care Awareness Month.  What does this mean?  The colour PINK certainly comes to mind.  Here at Netball Scotland HQ we will be holding our very own PINK FRIDAY and we would love it if our fantastic clubs from all over the country would join us in such pink'ness throughout the month.  This can mean dressing pink, eating pink, partying pink - you name it, it goes.  For as little as £2 per person, we could make a HUGE difference to this year's Breast Cancer Care Awareness Month.

Hosting a Pink Friday is just one of the ways in which you can get involved..  The Breast Cancer Care website (http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/events) has a number of suggestions on how you can raise money this October, so please click the above link and have a look.

We will be hosting our own PINK FRIDAY here in the office, click here to download a Pink Friday leaflet for information on how you can get involved with raising money for Breast Cancer Care.
