Regional Development Manager – (Tayside & Fife)

This will be achieved by engaging, empowering and inspiring members, partners and stakeholders across Scotland to be part of our sport.

 

Underpinning this key ambition is our Strategic Plan, Polaris.  “Empowerment” is a key focus area within the plan whereby Netball Scotland will strive to support clubs to grow and develop a quality infrastructure for the sport.

 

In partnership with the Tayside & Fife Regional Sports Partnership, Netball Scotland currently seeks a Regional Development Manager for the Tayside & Fife Region to deliver against this key objective.  The RDM will work in partnership with local sports development, community sport hub and active schools colleagues across the region to enhance the existing netball provision and support the growth of local netball clubs.

 

Salary                                                  £23,000- 25,000 per annum (relevant to experience)

Netball Scotland Board Vacancy - Finance Director

 

 

Netball Scotland seeks a Finance Director to join our leading and dynamic Board at a very exciting time of our development and continued growth. The Netball Scotland Board is responsible for the subsidiary company Scottish Sirens Limited whose semi-professional team The Sirens compete in the Vitality Netball Superleague.  At Netball Scotland we work as a collaborative team and our culture is one of inspiration, respect, excellence and courage.  

 

Role:

Responsible for the efforts, results, and success of Netball Scotland’s finance department.  Provides financial advice and support to help senior executives make key decisions.

Junior National Squad Physiotherapists

 

Netball Scotland are excited to announce the search for physiotherapists for our junior national squads.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to get more involved with our National teams.  Off the back of a successful Netball World Youth Cup campaign, we are now beginning the next 4-year cycle to ensure our young players are ready to compete against the best in the world in 2021.  Never has there been a more exciting time to get involved in netball at this National level!!

Development Academy Support Coach (North) 

 

Netball Scotland is seeking a Support Coach to assit to the coaches of the North Development Academy.  

 

The Development Academy programme focuses on embedded the fundamentals to selected U15s and is a key part of the pathway.

Student Netball Officer:  Volunteer Roles

 

Netball Scotland are working in partnership with our friends over at Scottish Student Sport to provide a fantastic volunteer opportunity within our Scottish Universities and Colleges.  Netball Scotland are now recruiting for Student Netball Officers (SNO) whose priority will be increasing the participation of netball within the University or College through the development, implementation and, where appropriate, the delivery of a menu of netballing opportunities.

 

Key responsibilities:

·         Facilitate the provision of an appropriate menu of netball opportunities within the University/College setting including the promotion and delivery of Bounce Back to Netball (BBN)

·         To forge links with the local netball community encouraging and enabling students to gain additional participation opportunities in the community

·         To act as a key communication point between the netball community and the student population

·         To promote wide student netball opportunities, in particular "Reffin Brilliant" and "Coaching Brilliant" as well as volunteer development

·         To monitor and report to Netball Scotland the University/College of the number of students involved in the programmes delivered by the SNO role

·         Operate in line with Netball Scotland the University/College's policies highlighted in the Volunteer Agreement

·         Promote Scottish Student Netball events and festivals.

 

About the role:

This is a voluntary role that has been designed to complement and fit alongside the individual's academic studies.  It is hoped that the successful candidates will be able to volunteer 2 - 6 hours per week.

The role will be supported by Netball Scotland, the University/College and a local support network.  The SNO will be supported by the Regional Development Manager of Netball Scotland local to the University/College, and the Regional Development Manager from Scottish Student Sport.

Netball Scotland Modern Apprenticeship - Level 3 SVQ certificate in Management

 

Netball Scotland (in partnership with the Sports Academy of Scotland) are thrilled to be in a position to offer a netball Modern Apprenticeship programme to someone currently working in sport (up to 30 hours a week).
