Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Information

In order to access the CRBS services, you should register your club when affiliating to Netball Scotland.  Please contact Gillian Crozier to complete the process of registration.  Once registered, any member or volunteer that is involved in regulated work with children i.e.  junior coach within your club may apply for a PVG Scheme Record using Netball Scotland as the Registered Body.  All applications to be made through Gillian Crozier who can be contacted on 0141 428 3462 or

Further guidance on completing the PVG Scheme Record along other useful documents for your club use can be found when logged into the Member's Section of our website.  Your Member's Section login details were included on your Welcome to the New Season email, however should you have any issue locating these details, please contact Gillian Taylor on

From Monday 29 October 2014, Netball Scotland are able to process Retrospective Checking through the PVG Scheme membership. This means that those clubs that are currently operating under the ‘old’ disclosure system or with no disclosure at all may have their coaches checked using the PVG Scheme membership. This is good news and will further ensure that our young players are safe in the environment in which they play our sport.

This may result in a high number of PVG Scheme applications being submitted – thus, CRBS, have informed all Governing Bodies that we will have our checking allocation cut for 3 months while they process the applications submitted. If you wish to take the opportunity to have your coaches, assistant coaches, team managers PVG Scheme members, please make direct contact with Netball Scotland on
