*Date for your diary!!  Netball Scotland's 2012 National Finals Day will take place on SUNDAY 3RD JUNE 2012, at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley*

The event schedule looks a little something like this;

Now that the deadline for all 1st round matches within the intiial competition has passed (Sunday 12th February), I am pleased to provide below the completed 2nd round draw for both the Scottish Cup and the Evelyn Beattie Quaich competitions.

You will note that each of the Sections below have now been completed, and full results and finishing places can now be seen by clicking on each of the Section links further down the screen.

Netball Scotland can confirm that the TOP 2 teams from each section went through to the Scottish Cup competition, and the remaining teams went through to the Evelyn Beattie Quaich competition.  Within the Scottish Cup, the two top scoring 1st placed teams received a 'bye' into the Quarter Finals.  The remaining teams were seeded based on performance, and then the top 6 and bottom 6 were re-drawn.  Home and Away ties were decided dependant on the 1st round matches and were alternated accordingly.  In the event that both teams had played the same number of home and away matches, these names were drawn out of a hat to decide who would have the home fixture in the next round.

Within the Quaich competition, the top scoring 3rd placed team were awarded a 'bye' into the Semi Finals.  The remaining 12 teams were again, split into a top 6 and bottom 6, and re-drawn against one another.  Again, home and away fixtures were decided dependant on the previous round's fixtures.

You will note, that from now on, both the Scottish Cup and Quaich competitions are KNOCK OUT competitions.
