The Sirens are Scotland’s recently launched, and only, semi-professional national female sports team with a TV broadcast deal. Televised by Sky Sports, based in the £113m Emirates Arena in Glasgow and competing in the UK-wide Vitality Netball Superleague, the Sirens are determined to blaze a trail for women’s sport in Scotlandwhilst challenging for the League title every year.


Attracting sell-out crowds and national media coverage, and with an impressive record of performance at home, the Sirens are on a mission to build one of the UK’s top elite female sport environments that drives a winning culture in which both the team and the sport can thrive. And it seems to be working!


Following on from the significant successes of their debut Season, the Sirens are now looking to recruit an exceptional Head Coach to lead a first class programme capable of preparing the team as they compete for VNSL honours in the 2018season. Taking over from the current Head Coach, Gail Parata, as she shifts her attention to preparing the Scotland national team for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the successful candidate will be supported by an experienced team of High Performance experts across the Governing Body, Netball Scotland, and the sportscotland institute of sport.
