You have been invited to be part of a fantastic opportunity, to take part in the Scotland Netball Squad Road Show.
The Scotland Netball Squad is 13th in the World and are currently preparing for International competition to increase their ranking into the top 12. The competitions include, European Championships, Test series against Singapore at Glasgow Club Bellahouston in May and also tour to Barbados. If, after these matches the squad reach their goal they will have the opportunity to compete in the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
As part of Scotland’s build up, we would like to give you the opportunity to be coached by members of the Scotland squad.
Every player will receive a coaching session followed by a tournament and each Scottish player will adopt a team.
Not only will there be coaching and games but each player will have the opportunity to win several netball prizes from the squad.
The festival details are as follows:
Venue: Craigmount High School, Craigs Road, Edinburgh, EH12 8NH
Date: 27th June 2009
Times: Session 1: 10.30 – 12.30 Primary school P4 - 7
Session 2: 13.00 - 15.00 Secondary school S1 – S3
Cost: £10 per player
As this will be a popular Roadshow, players will gain a place on a first come first served basis. The closing date for entries is Friday 17th June. On receipt of your entry we will send you a festival programme.
