It has been a successfull couple of weeks for the young Edinburgh University side. Beating Bellahouston 14-6 in the final of National Clubs to become National Clubs Champions on Sunday 21st October at the Kelvinhall started off a strong week for them.
 
On the back of the win they hosted Birmingham University at home in their first Home BUSA Premier League game and won by a close 36-33, but the psycological victory was huge as this is a tough league and wins will be hard to come by.
 
Just one week after winning National Clubs, they were back at the Kelvinhall and playing for the Scottish Universities Championships. Undefeated in the pool stages they went into the semi final against their own 2nd team the obvious favorites and did not dissappoint. Meeting Glasgow in the final after beating them in the pool stages proved to be tougher in the 1st half than they had expected, but they pulled away in the 2nd half to a convincing 23-16 win.
