European Championships are a great success

The European Championships was held at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow from the 15th to the 17th February and was a great success. 

Scotland played well ending up in 2nd place after beating Wales and Northern Ireland but losing out to England in the Final.  These results will help Scotland move up the World Rankings and is a great base to build future success on when the team next play against Malawi (ranked 5th in the World) in Scotland on 11th April 2008.

All teams enjoyed great support over the weekend with sell-out crowds cheering on every pass and shot which contributed to a great atmosphere for the duration of the championships.
