The Commonwealth Games Committee today voted for Glasgow to Host the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Netball Scotland are delighted with this result. As well as being great for Glasgow we are confident that it will act as a springboard for performance and participation throughout the whole of Scotland. The games will be a key driver in Glasgow's netball community and should allow a larger junior club structure.
This exciting announcement comes at a great time as the World Netball Championships are due to start in Auckland tomorrow. This should give the Scotland team momentum for their first game against Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.
