Netball Scotland has competed in every World Netball Championship and every World Youth Netball Championships and is currently ranked 15 in the world at Open level and 12 in the world at Under 21 level.

The International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) conducts championships every 4 years for member nations at Open and U21 level within 5 regional federations - Africa, Asia, Americas, Oceania and Europe.

Within Europe Scotland competes annually at Open, U19 and U17 level in Championships conducted by Netball Europe

Netball Scotland is a member of the Commonwealth Games Council for Scotland (CGCS) but has not yet participated in a Commonwealth Games as a competing country.

Netball Scotland’s umpires have excelled on the world stage at World Championships, European Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
