This season Netball Scotland will be running the following Squads

National Open Squad
The National Open squad are preparing to compete in the World Championships in New Zealand in November. This squad will continue and represent Scotland at the FENA Open Championships in February 2008 in Scotland.

Open Development Squad
This is a new squad this season and Trials will take place
on  18th November 2007
from 10.00 – 3.00pm
at  Caledonian University
The squad will compete at the FENA Development Championships in Dublin in June 2008.
Players wishing to attend for trial should complete and application form.

National U21 Squad & U19 Development Squad Trial
The trials for these squads will take place
On Saturday 22nd September 2007
From  10.00 – 3.00pm
At  Caledonian University

The U21 Squad will compete at the FENA U21 Championships in March 2008.

The U19 Development Squad will also have a training programme.

Players wishing to attend for trial should complete an application form.

National U17 Squad
The trials for this squad will take place
On Saturday 15th September 2007
From 10.00 – 3.00pm
At  Caledonian University

Players will be invited to attend this trial by the Regional Development Squad Coach. Any player who has not come through this programme can contact Fiona Booth for further information. Players not selected for the National U17 Squad will continue with the Regional Development Squad programme.

U17 Regional Development Squads – East & West
Players are invited to attend these trials following discussion with District Coaches.

Trials for the RDS East took place in June 2007. Trials for the RDS West will be
On Sunday 2nd September 2007 From  10.00 – 3.00pm at  Caledonian University

East RDS next training sessions :  Saturday 2 February and Saturday 1 March 2008,  both at Oldmachar Academy, both 10am-2pm.   Contact Linda Thomson TM for more information.
