South Lanarkshire A won the Challenge Cup on the 4th of October, beating Aberdeen A 19 – 12 in the final. The Under 17 Challenge Cup was held in Dundee, at the Dundee International Sports Centre, 8 Districts participated and 12 teams took part in the event.
South Lanarkshire A and Aberdeen A both won their 5 team groups, winning every game. Both teams produced a fast competitive and exciting final, indeed at half time the score was 8-7 to South Lanarkshire however in the final half South Lanarkshire managed to pull away and walk away with the trophy.
