DESCRIPTION:Get inspired. Get active. Get involved. – Hosted by Sycamore Netball Club \nThis summer\, we’re inviting young people to step onto the court and give netball a go! Inspired by the energy and excitement of the Commonwealth Games\, our “Come & Try” Netball Sessions are the perfect way to build confidence\, make new friends\, and fall in love with the game. \nWhether you’re completely new or have played a little before\, these sessions are all about fun\, teamwork\, and trying something new in a friendly and supportive environment. \nWhat to expect:\n\nFun games and skill-based activities\nA chance to learn the basics of netball\nTeam challenges and match play\nA welcoming space for all genders and abilities\n\nThe sessions will run over three weeks\, with two-hour sessions each week\, giving participants plenty of time to develop skills and enjoy the game. \nAnd the best part? If you enjoy it\, you can continue your netball journey by signing up to our Glasgow Community Camps or joining one of our local netball clubs across the city. \nSession Details:\n\nDates: 29th July 2.00pm-4.00pm\, 3rd August 10.00am – 12.00pm\, 8th August 10.00am – 12.00pm\nVenue: Easterhouse Sports Centre\n\nWho can take part?\n\nAge group: P4-P7\nOpen to all genders and abilities – no experience needed!\n\nPlease note: This event runs across three separate dates. Each date must be booked individually; however\, participants are welcome to attend multiple sessions by adding the relevant dates to your cart. \nSpaces are limited — don’t miss out on the ultimate netball day! \n

DESCRIPTION:This blended C Umpiring Course is perfect for those who wish to umpire at lower league divisions/junior level or school competitions. Course fee includes Virtual C umpiring course and Netball Europe C Theory Exam & Europe Netball Practical Assessment. \nDelivered by Lead Tutors: Katie Wain & Anna Beattie \nBooking Deadline: 14/04/2026 \nCandidates must have a Level 3 membership and above. \nPre Course: Online Introduction to umpiring via Brightspace – must be completed by the final session. \n\nSession 1 – Tuesday 21st April 2026\,  time: 7.30pm – 9pm – online\nSession 2 – Saturday 25th April 2026  – 9am – 1pm – practical. Venue: Easterhouse Sportscentre\n\n\n**Candidates must attend all sessions and come prepared to participate in the practical session and bring a whistle. \nOnline Theory  \nNetball Europe’s C Award – the written element of the award is now online \, which means that it can be taken at any time throughout the year and in the comfort of your own home.  All Information to book is available on the  e learning modules and candidates can only apply  once the course has been completed. \nPractical Assessments \nCandidates must complete their 10 hours of umpiring prior to practical assessment  \nPractical Assessment dates will be confirmed later in the year to give candidates time to complete their hours.
