DESCRIPTION:Community Coach Award \nThe purpose of this course is to allow learners to develop knowledge and skills they will use to independently plan\, deliver\, and review coaching sessions. Learners will be able to describe their motivations and aspirations as a coach\, develop their ability to identify the needs of all participants\, and prepare safe coaching environments. \nThe course is suitable for learners who have an active interest in netball and coaching. \nLearners must be at least 16 years old on completion of this course. Entry is at the discretion of Netball Scotland.  Learners should have an active interest in netball and some experience of assisting at coaching sessions. SUMMARY:C Umpiring Course - Edinburgh
DESCRIPTION:This blended C Umpiring Course is perfect for those who wish to umpire at lower league divisions/junior level or school competitions. Course fee includes Virtual C umpiring course and Netball Europe C Theory Exam & Europe Netball Practical Assessment. \nDelivered by Lead Tutors: Jeannie Garing & Niel Gavin \nBooking Deadline: 23/11/2023 \nCandidates must have a Level 3 membership and above. \nPre Course: Online Introduction to umpiring via Brightspace – must be completed by the final session. \n\nSession 1 – Thursday 30th November 2023 – 6.30pm – 8pm – Online\nSession 2 – Saturday 9th December 2023 – 12pm – 4pm – 3pm\n\n\n**Candidates must attend all sessions and come prepared to participate in the practical session and bring a whistle. \nOnline Theory  \nNetball Europe’s C Award – the written element of the award is now online \, which means that it can be taken at any time throughout the year and in the comfort of your own home.  All Information to book is available on the  e learning modules and candidates can only apply  once the course has been completed. \nPractical Assessments \nCandidates must complete their 10 hours of umpiring prior to practical assessment. \nPractical Assessment dates will be confirmed later in the year to give candidates time to complete their hours.
