EQUALITY
Netball Scotland embraces the diverse communities across the country and is committed to ensuring our sport is welcoming, inclusive and accessible for all. With a “People First” culture, we are committed to creating and delivering quality opportunities for all people to experience netball, regardless of age, gender, ability, race, religion & belief or sexual orientation whether as Board members, staff, athletes, club members, participants, fans, coaches, officials or volunteers.
We are committed to the Equality Standards for Sport and proud holders of the Intermediate Award.
Netball Scotland’s brand new Equality Advisory Group (EAG) was launched in May 2021.
The EAG is a group established by Netball Scotland, representing the Governing Body in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. The group will provide advice and guidance on all equality matters ensuring practical, strategic and operational support to deliver Netball Scotland’s equality strategic objectives and will provide support to the Netball Scotland internal Equality Working Group and Board Members.
