The Level 2 coaching course is a qualification for all Lead Coaches and equips you to oversee the running and development of your club. 

Netball Scotland are giving you the opportunity to complete your level 2 qualification by doing the theory & practical day content online over 12 x 2.5hr sessions. These sessions will be delivered by Leigh Anne Carracher and Mary Ann Cosgrove.

Theory – 6 Sessions 

• Monday 4th October 2021 – 7pm – 9.30pm 
• Saturday 9th October 2021 – 10.30am – 1pm 
• Sunday 10th October 2021 – 6pm – 8.30pm 
• Sunday 24th October 2021 – 6pm – 8.30pm 
• Monday 25th October 2021 – 7pm – 9.30pm 
• Wednesday  27th October 2021 – 7pm – 9.30pm 

Practical –  6 Sessions

• Saturday 6th November 2021 – 10.30am – 1pm 
• Sunday 7th November 2021  – 6pm – 8.30pm 
• Monday 15th November 2021 – 7pm – 9.30pm 
• Saturday 20th November 2021 – 10.30am – 1pm 
• Sunday 21st November 2021 – 6pm – 8.30pm 
• Sun 28th November 2021 –  6pm – 8.30pm 

This Level 2 course date is part of a series of dates commencing on the 4th October 2021

All of the original content will be presented using videos of attacking and defending skills, highlighting key coaching points and common errors as well as devising practices with progressions to coach these skills effectively. 

You will have the opportunity to work on developing your observation, analysis and feedback skills. 

When you have completed all sessions and all assessment tasks you will be ready to take your practical assessment.

***Please note that the Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport Certificate is required to complete and be signed off as a Level 2 Coach***
