Johnston Carmichael Junior Club Development Fund recipients announced ahead of the 2026/27 season

Netball Scotland is delighted to announce the fourteen junior netball clubs awarded grants through the Johnston Carmichael Junior Club Development Fund ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Back for a fourth year, the Fund is continuing to make a meaningful impact for affiliated clubs, offering targeted support to help junior netball grow and thrive. With a strong focus on learning and development, this year’s successful clubs come from a wide range of regions across Scotland but share the ambition to support coaching, skills development and educational opportunities for young people which will enable their clubs to strengthen.

Netball Scotland Director of Development Carol Harvey commented on this year’s Fund distribution, saying:
“It is so encouraging to see the focus on learning and education shining through in this year’s applications. We recognise the positive impact this will have for club development and the growth of junior netball clubs. We look forward to working with these successful clubs to develop their knowledge and skills next season.”

From workforce development to supporting safe, structured club sessions, the Johnston Carmichael Junior Club Development Fund is helping clubs respond to real challenges in a way that creates lasting benefit and supports the growth of netball. We’ll be visiting some of the recipients later this year to talk to them about their awards and how their clubs are growing and developing.
