We believe in the power of young people as leaders in sport.  That is why we are delighted to open recruitment for the Netball Scotland Ambassador Programme!

The Netball Scotland Ambassador Programme consists of young people between the age of 14 and 25 selected to represent the voice of young people. The programme will begin in April 2021 and ambassadors will be involved for one year.

We want to provide a platform for young people to share their views and influence the future development of the sport within Scotland and support them to develop new life skills whilst providing them with experiences that will increase their confidence and opportunities to gain qualifications.

Ambassadors will be involved with scheduled meetings over the year term (held virtually until government guidelines allow us to meet in person) which will focus on developing skills such as confidence and leadership as well as identifying ways to help improve Netball for young people in Scotland. Ambassadors will also be encouraged to share their voice with their club and Local Association committees (if applicable).

HOW TO APPLY:

We want to know why you would like to be an ambassador and what your vision is. You can tell us in an email or send a video. This is your chance to explain / show us why you should be a Netball Scotland Ambassador.
