We present an excellent opportunity to work for Netball Scotland, one of the most attractive and exciting National Governing Bodies in Scotland. The successful applicant will be fully credited on the resource and will receive endorsement from Netball Scotland on completion of the project. An ideal summer project, this would be a fantastic addition to a portfolio or CV.
Brief
The illustrator is required to create up to six children within the age range of 3 to 5 years old, characterised to illustrate the games within the resource and to bring to life our exciting new product.
The illustrations should be appealing to children and each illustrated child should have their own strong & vibrant personality displaying a cheerful disposition and should remain consistent throughout the resource. The characters should be representative of an inclusive society.
The final commission involves producing a full set of approximately 30 – 40 illustrations to populate the full resource for an appropriate fee.
The deadline for the work to be completed is subject to availability of the successful applicant however we are working towards September 2018.

Tender Submission
Please include the following in your tender submission:
2 characters within the age range of 3 to 5 years old: 1 performing a one footed balance and the other creating a star shape with their body, standing on a spot marker or near a spot marker.
A short paragraph (no more than 100 words) per character detailing your artistic choices for the illustration, the characteristics of the children and why you made these decisions.
The deadline for the tender submission is Tuesday 29th May at 5pm.
The successful applicant will be chosen and contacted by no later than Friday 8th June.
