UKCC Qualification Subsidy – What’s New?

The UKCC Netball Qualifications are evolving. From August 2020 Netball Scotland will be adopting the NEW Scottish Coaching Awards. But don’t fret, all previous UKCC Netball Qualifications will be automatically recognised within the new qualification framework. No additional training is required.
The new qualification will have a greater focus on the practical elements of coaching and will be split between sportscotland and Netball Scotland. However, there is no guarantee of funding with this new qualification.
For that reason, we encourage everyone to take advantage of the current UKCC training whilst the subsidy is still available.
Coaches will qualify for the following subsidy amounts until the new qualification comes into effect in August 2020:
Level 1: 40% of full course cost with a maximum value of £75
Level 2: 60% of full course cost with a maximum value of £350
