Club Affiliation Information

5th August 2019

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer break and has been spurred on by the fantastic Netball World Cup held in Liverpool this July!! We loved to see so many of you at home and in Liverpool #BackingPurple across all our social media platforms. We can only hope this immense summer of netball has galvanised you for the coming season!

Speaking of which, it’s that time of year again, affiliation season is upon us. Like last year, Netball Scotland have been working with the Go Membership team to make our system as user-friendly as possible.

In this article we hope to provide you, the Club Secretary, with all the information to make this seasons affiliation as stress free as possible in 4 straightforward steps.

Step 1 – Logging into your club account

Step 2 – Updating your details

Step 3 Renewing your Club and Members licence

Step 4 – Payment by GoCardless

However, if after reading through the attached information you still run into problems, simply email membership@netballscotland.com and #TeamNS will endeavour to assist you!

Step 1. Logging into your club account

Our membership and events portal can be accessed via  https://netballscotland.azolve.com/Account.mvc/LogIn

Hopefully you have a note of your login ID and password. But don’t worry if you don’t!

Forgot your username? To access your club account, club secretaries will use their individual username and password.  Should you require a reminder of this information, contact Netball Scotland via membership@netballscotland.com or 0141 428 3460.

Forgot your password? If you know your username but can’t remember your password, type in the username and then click on the ‘Forgot password’ link on the homepage of the system.

Step 2. Updating your details

Member/Club Profile Compulsory Fields:

To ensure our data records are as accurate as possible, and to ensure we are able to get in contact with you and your club members, regarding their membership and other Netball related communications, all detail fields in the members/club profile area are now compulsory and we ask that it is as accurate as possible. With this information Netball Scotland are also able to analyse the spread of netball across the country and pinpoint any gaps in services.

Opt-In to keep receiving communications from Netball Scotland:

In line with the new laws surrounding GDPR we require all clubs and members to opt into communications from Netball Scotland. Don’t worry! As part of your member benefits, covered under our privacy policy, you will receive communications in relation to your membership. But if you want to hear from us regarding events, camps, education courses, sirens and other netball news you should ensure all opt-ins are accepted.

You can do this under the Opt-ins section of your member or club profile, just tick whichever communications you would like to receive, so you don’t miss out!

Step 3. Renewing your licence

This is where it gets fun! Clubs, we have put together a Club Affiliation Quick Guide to help you navigate the GoMembership system and successfully renew club and member licences, all the information is #HereIfYouNeed

  • Click here to access the Club Affiliation Quick Guide

We have also attached, for your convenience, Club Admin FAQ’s which detail bulk renewals, transfers and more.

Step 4. Payment by GoCardless

You should have received an email from us earlier in the month regarding the change to payment methods for all clubs and members. As of the 19th of July, our new and improved system for payments came into effect and all payments will now be made using either GoCardless or Stripe payment methods.

We would encourage Members and clubs who currently pay by invoice to utilise the GoCardless platform as it is the most efficient and easiest to manage. If you need any more information on why we made the change click here.

Now, we’ll leave you to get back into the notion of club administration, have a read over the above and the attached.  If you have any questions at all in respect of the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch with membership@netballscotland.com.

Welcome back guys, we cannot wait for another epic season of netball!
