Coaching Vacancy: REACT Netball, Renfrewshire

Newly established REACT Netball are recruiting for a sessional Development Coach to help them launch netball in Erskine, Renfrewshire. REACT Netball is a brand new initiative brought by the team behind REACT Basketball (Registered Chartiy SC045050) the primary purpose of which being the advancement of public participation in recreational, grass-root basketball and netball among young children and young people. The secondary purpose is the advancement of citizenship through teaching and instilling the five REACT values of Respect, Enable, Achievable, Community & Togetherness.
The role of the REACT Netball Development Coach is to grow and develop the REACT Netball programme. This primarily includes, but not limited to, increasing levels of public participation among girls & young women, growing membership and empowering and equipping young people with the necessary tools to coach netball.
The Development Coach will also support REACT staff to improve and develop overall sustainability of the programme, both in membership and finances, and will be expected to work with various external agencies for the development of REACT Netball. For example, Netball Scotland. The Development Coach will also play a role in the continuous monitoring and development of all members across REACT Netball and will play a key role in positively engaging parents/guardians in the sport.
