Independent Coach Education – Residential Sports Graduate Vacancy

For the past 15 years Independent Coach Education have recruited hundreds of graduates into elite schools to assist with specialist sports coaching.

 

What is a Residential Sports Graduate?

A RSG is a live in member of an elite schools PE Department. If successful you will join a PE department to coach various sports and help out in all aspects of school life, both on and off the sports field. Typically schools offer 1 term, 2 terms or full year posts, depending on the needs of the school and candidate. Successfully placed candidates can expect a monthly wage of roughly £1,000-1,200, free accommodation, 3 meals a day and no bills.

 

What Qualifications do I Need?

Sports Graduate jobs are targeted to young coaches in their 20’s who have previous experience coaching children. A minimum UKCC level 1 is required in major sports played in a private school, i.e. Netball, hockey, rugby, lacrosse or cricket. A strong candidate will offer more than one sport. However, if you have played sport to a very high level (county/national) then you may also be considered.
