Claire Drummond – A Vision for Strategic Partnerships
Claire Drummond joins the board with a wealth of experience as a Commercial Manager in the sports sector. Her track record in developing purposeful partnerships in golf and cycling is set to be a cornerstone in realising Netball Scotland’s ambitions. Claire is renowned for her energetic approach to sports and charity, promising to infuse the board with her dynamic spirit.
Gemma Sole – Leadership and Netball Excellence
Gemma Sole brings her extensive background as an Executive Coach to the table, having supported leaders from a myriad of sectors. Her recognition in Business Insider’s 35 Rising Stars of Scottish Business under 35 highlights her commitment to inclusion in the workplace. Gemma is not new to netball’s high stakes, having represented Scotland in international competitions, and is determined to leverage her experience for the board’s objectives.
Gemma’s perspective is clear: “I’m delighted to be joining the Netball Scotland Board as a Non-Executive Director during such a pivotal time for the game. I hope to bring my experience as a former athlete and as a coach to help the development of this brilliant sport in Scotland.”

With two decades of experience in sports organisations, Stuart Martin’s expertise in commercial strategy and marketing is poised to enrich Netball Scotland’s brand presence. His past involvements with Rugby and Golf have prepared him to tackle the challenges and opportunities in netball.
Upneet Thandi – Marketing Strategist with a Global Touch
Upneet Thandi’s prowess in marketing and strategy, notably with Major League Baseball’s London Series, showcases her ability to enhance fan engagement and drive significant revenue. Her past experiences with major sports brands equip her to scale Netball Scotland’s marketing efforts to new heights.
Zoe Lee – Financial Acumen for Sporting Growth
Zoe Lee, a chartered accountant, and CFO, offers Netball Scotland over 15 years of financial expertise. Her role in business and digital transformation and her dedication to netball as a player and supporter will be invaluable in steering the financial strategy of the organisation.
Zoe articulates her enthusiasm: “I am delighted to be appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Netball Scotland. This is a culmination of lifelong passions for business and netball, and I am privileged to have the opportunity to contribute and make a difference to the future success of our sport.”
