It’s Time to get #NetballReady

As the opportunity for a gradual return to sport eases ever closer, guidance documents setting out a Return to Netball in Scotland are near completion following a final review by sportscotland and partners. This guidance will set out a Return to Netball strategy in a careful and considered way. Our return will be gradual, phased and varied between ages, in line with the latest government guidance and advice at the time. We want to ensure that every Member and Club can come back safely and confidently.
However, our return to netball is not a race and we will continue to work with and support our Members, Clubs and Local Associations to ensure everyone is #NetballReady
We have been working hard to enhance the affiliation process, update our guidance, and provide you with more opportunities to enjoy our range of services and benefits. Over the next month we’ll also explain your membership and give you all the guidance and information that you need for the new season.
Our members are at the heart of everything we do and it is no exaggeration to say that without you, there is no us, but without us, there would be no netball as you know it. We are proud to be a not-for-profit organisation that invests your membership income back into our sport to contribute to the growth and development of netball across Scotland. However, the pandemic has placed considerable stress on many businesses, including our own, over the past few months and will continue to do so for some time to come.
That is why, now more than ever, we need the Netball Family to support our sport. We are calling on all Members and Clubs to get #NetballReady and pledge your support to help safeguard the future of netball.
Affiliation opens August 13th, and to support our members in these uncertain times we want to offer an optional 20% discount on all individual membership licences for those who need it. This discounted rate will be available from August 13th to September 13th.
However, if you are able, the option to renew your licence in full will also be available. We ask that if you can, please pay in full to help us navigate through the pandemic and emerge as a sport stronger than ever.
Either way, whatever option you choose, by joining us and getting #NetballReady your affiliation is helping to support our sport through these difficult times and enables all to continue to enjoy the sport of netball for life.
Finally, we want to say a huge thank you to our Members, Clubs and Local Associations who have continued to champion our sport during lockdown, your dedication and passion for netball drives the sport forward.
