Tamsin Greenway Selects Scottish Thistles Squad for 2020/2021 Season

We are delighted to announce the players selected to represent Scotland as part of the Scottish Thistles Squad and Scotland A Programme for the 2020/2021 International season.
The 14 players selected into the Scottish Thistles are:
Emma Barrie, Bethan Goodwin, Niamh McCall, Lynsey Gallagher, Nicola McCleery, Emma Love, Claire Maxwell, Rebecca Edgar, Savannah Antoine, Sarah MacPhail, Emily Nicholl, Hayley Mulheron, Ella Gibbons and Lauren Tait.
We are also excited to also announce the names of the 9 players selected into the Scotland A Programme:
Caitlin Pringle, Cerys Cairns, Kelly Boyle, Gillian Thomson, Rachel Conway, Emma Grant, Laura Burton, Alice Currie and Ellen Doyle.
The Scottish Thistles are the senior representative netball team for Scotland whilst the Scotland A programme provides the next group of players with exposure to high level training and identified matchplay opportunities, designed to develop athletes towards making the step into the Thistles programme.
Commenting on the depth of the squad Scottish Thistles Head Coach Tamsin Greenway said; “I’m really excited to be able to name both the Scottish Thistles and the Scotland A squads for the upcoming season.
After working closely with a large group of athletes over the past few months we were finally able to select. I’ve been hugely impressed with the amount of talent on display and it was great for the players to be rewarded for their efforts and dedication.
Moving forwards both groups will be working closely together, and I can’t wait to get fully back into coaching and to take these squads on their next journey.”
