Scotland to Compete at Inaugural School Netball Games

Netball Scotland are excited to announce that we have been invited to enter an Under 15 netball team into the 2018 UK Schools Games to be held in Loughborough from Thursday 30th August to Sunday 2nd September 2018. This is a multi-sport competition in it’s 13th year featuring 10 sports with netball making its debut this summer.
The School Netball Games will feature 12 teams competing over four days of competition. The teams represent eight of the ten Vitality Netball Superleague teams, plus London Pulse, Yorkshire and Home Nations Netball Northern Ireland and Netball Scotland. The U15 age group is very important for the future development of the Scottish Thistle national programme and being Lead Coach means I can share my knowledge and experience with both the players and the Development Academy coaches whom I am looking forward to working with.”
