UNDER 17 & U21 NATIONAL LONG SQUADS ANNOUNCED

Netball Scotland is delighted to announce the athletes and management selected for the U17 and U21 National long squads for season 2021-2022. After such a long break off the court for these athletes, we can’t wait to get started with this group of #FutureThistles.
The successful selected athletes are as follows:

After such a long period of time off the court, we are so pleased to be re-launching our performance programmes. Over the past 3 and a half months we have been undertaking the steps to a gradual return to court and have hosted various screening and selection weekends across the age groups. This cautious, yet rigorous approach has ensured not only the safe return of our sport at this level, but it has also allowed the selection team to see far more athletes than we have previously been able to. We are so excited by the calibre of athletes that we have selected into our programmes for this season, through the retention of previous squad members but also the introduction of many new athletes. The future of netball in Scotland is very bright and we cannot wait to watch the development of these athletes across the season and throughout their netball careers.
