Unmissable Moments: Round 6 of the National League on iPlayer

In an exhilarating Round 6 of the National League, netball fans were treated to a spectacle of skill, determination, and strategic mastery. With the playoffs in sight, every pass, goal, and victory brought us closer to deciphering who would make it to the final showdowns in May.
Bellahouston vs Saltires:
Bellahouston came out strong and didn’t look back, Saltires, despite a valiant effort and winning the third quarter, couldn’t overcome. Bellahouston’s victory has solidified their path to the playoffs, but the journey is far from over. Head Coach, Fiona Metcalfe told us,
“Our game plan was to play with a lot of control and consistency across the four quarters. We still have some work ons to take away but overall, we are very happy with that full squad performance.”
Their next match will be agains Glasgow Uni round 7.
Dunedin’s Farewell for Now:
In their final match of the season, Dunedin showcased a performance that reminded everyone of their potential and spirit. As they bid adieu to this season’s league campaign, they leave with heads held high and eyes on the future.
“We are delighted with our performance today, we knew that if we just played within our structures and focuses on each quarter that we could do it.” explains Emma Cathill.
Edinburgh Accies vs Strathclyde Uni:
This was more than a game; it was a battle for a spot in the playoffs. Strathclyde University emerged victorious, securing a critical position in the league and setting the stage for a dramatic conclusion to the regular season.
“Today was about pushing on from our work ons from previous rounds in National League. The momentum did shift throughout the game but it was important that in those moments we played our own game. We a
do want to make the playoffs so for us its about going back to look at what we need to work on and then we face Saltires to make sure we are in the playoffs.”
